Group Counseling

Group counseling usually includes 5+ people who meet face to face with a counselor and talk about a certain topic. Group members listen to each other and ask questions or express thoughts and feelings about the topic. These interactions give members an opportunity to better understand themselves and others; to learn from someone or simply see a topic from another point of view. We often go through life not knowing that other people are having similar struggles because we simply don’t talk about it.

Group counseling is powerful because we realize that together we are not alone.

Some groups that will be offered:

  • Academic Success

  • Communication Skills

  • Healthy Relationships

  • Dealing with Stress
