Lake Mary, FL
You're not lost. You're becoming.
Lake Mary, FL is where I provide therapy that feels personal, approachable, and designed around you. I work with older teens, young adults, and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the challenging process of questioning beliefs and family patterns that no longer fit who they're becoming.
Finding a therapist can feel overwhelming when you're already dealing with so much. Lake Mary, FL has become home to my practice because I love the sense of community here and the opportunity to support people through some of life's toughest moments. I'm a solo practitioner, which means when you work with me, you're getting my full attention and a therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and working at your pace.
My Approach to Therapy
I specialize in working with young adult women, especially those in undergrad or graduate school who are deconstructing challenging religious and familial patterns. This work can feel really isolating, and I want you to know you don't have to do it alone. Whether you're questioning beliefs you've held your whole life or figuring out who you are outside of family expectations, I'm here to walk alongside you.
My therapy style is casual and conversational. I'm not about maintaining some distant professional wall between us. I want you to feel comfortable being real with me. I bring empathy to every session, and I work at whatever pace feels right for you, not some arbitrary timeline.
Getting Started
Starting therapy doesn't have to be complicated. We begin with a 15-minute free consultation call where you can ask questions and see if we click. There's no pressure to commit to anything. If it feels like a good fit, our first and second sessions focus on getting to know each other and setting goals that matter to you. These goals guide our work together, and we can always adjust them as things evolve.
Once we're working together regularly, you'll schedule appointments through my electronic health record system. Most clients come weekly or every other week, but we'll figure out what works best for you. My sessions are skill-based and practical. I give homework to help you use what we're learning in real life, but I'm not big on worksheets unless you find them helpful.
I also have a HIPAA-compliant phone number where you can text me with quick questions or scheduling needs. Just know that I don't provide crisis services, so if you're in immediate danger, you'll need to reach out to emergency resources.

Deconstructing Beliefs and Finding Yourself
If you're questioning or leaving behind religious beliefs and family expectations, this is something I have a lot of experience supporting. It can be incredibly freeing and also bring up guilt, fear, and grief all at once. You might be asking yourself who you are outside of what you were taught, how to keep relationships with family who don't get it, or how to deal with the anxiety of letting go of certainty.
These questions don't have quick answers. In therapy, we create space to explore them without judgment. I'm not going to tell you what to believe or how to live. I'm here to help you sort through the messiness, figure out your own truth, and build the confidence to live authentically even when it's uncomfortable.
Building Confidence and Healthier Relationships
Confidence isn't something you either have or don't. It's something we can build together. Many people I work with struggle with self-doubt, imposter syndrome, people-pleasing, and having a hard time asking for what they need. We'll look at where these patterns come from and practice new ways of showing up for yourself.
Relationships are another big focus. Whether it's friendships, dating, family dynamics, or work relationships, therapy can help you communicate better and feel more connected. We'll explore patterns that aren't serving you and try out healthier ways of relating to the people in your life.
As someone who works primarily with young adult women, I understand the unique pressures you're facing. From perfectionism and body image to dealing with sexism in school or work, we'll create space to talk about all of it. We'll work on developing an identity rooted in your values, not just external expectations.
Why Lake Mary
Lake Mary has this great mix of community feel and access to everything Orlando offers. My practice reflects that same warmth and openness. I don't do one-size-fits-all therapy. I create an inclusive space where all identities and experiences are welcome. Whether you're exploring questions about sexuality, gender, spirituality, or anything else, you'll find a judgment-free environment here.
I don't accept insurance, but I offer superbills if you want to use out-of-network benefits. This lets me focus on providing quality care without insurance company limitations.
